At first, I thought it was a joke. TechCrunch's Michael Arrington suggests that Amazon open their Kindle e-book reader for third-party clones. My advice to Amazon is to always do the opposite of whatever Arrington says. Just ask Apple what clone programs do for revenue and brand identity.
