Nintendo Plans to Continue Milking the DS

While the two companies are often compared, the difference between Nintendo and Apple is that Apple never waits for sales to drop off before releasing the next generation of its products (releasing the iPod nano at the height of the mini’s popularity, for example). This is why Apple is still gaining in revenue and market share, while Iwata is saying things like this:
“But I’m not sure if it’s prudent to use words like revival and recovery lightly before making absolutely certain we can maintain this momentum. So, I steer clear of such words today.”
