Verizon Waiting on Apple
According to Macworld, Verizon wants the iPhone (shocking!), but the ball is in Apple’s court. As I wrote last week, the fact that Verizon and Apple are still in negotiations isn’t a surprise, but it is a little weird for Verizon to make a power play with the Droid and then admit to sitting by the phone. It’s a sign of weakness.
My guess: Apple has caught on to the ruse. They’re making Verizon sweat.
