Brian Caulfield writes what appears to be a thoughtful criticism of Apple’s newest mouse. Until you get to this:
The worst part: This thing costs $69, not including the fresh AA batteries you’ll have to buy every few months.
That’s right. If you’re on deadline and your mouse runs out of juice, you might actually have to drive down to the nearest store to get new batteries.
What does Caulfield expect the wireless mouse to run on? Sheer willpower? Rechargeable batteries are cheap enough to have a few spares sitting around in case of a deadline.
