Designing the NNW Icon
Because I’m apparently in love with Brad Ellis and can’t stop talking about him, here’s his writeup on the design process for both the desktop and iPhone versions of NetNewsWire.
The decision to ditch the rings when the badge is present is an important one to note. Attention to detail and consideration of user experience are what separate Mac and iPhone user experience from the rest of the world.
