The iPatch
Tired of realizing halfway through a WebEx meeting that the customer could see me the whole time, I ordered an iPatch to cover up (or not) my MacBook Pro’s built-in iSight. It arrived today, and while it looks small and potentially flimsy, it works remarkably well. The magnetic cover slides back and forth to cover the camera, scratching a very specific itch with relative grace. If I had to pick something to complain about, it would be that it covers either the light sensor or the ‘camera on’ light, depending on which way you install it. But the way I figure, the light only matters if you don’t have the camera covered to begin with.
