Also announced at E3 is Nintendo's "Motion Plus" add-on for the Wii remote. The attachment improves motion detection for games that require more precision. Of course, they could have just improved the original remote and offered this as an upgrade for users who don't want to replace their set, but ...

At E3 today, Nintendo announced Wii Speak, a voice chat system for the Wii. Unsurprisingly, it will require yet another peripheral which sits atop the sensor bar.
From the comments:
Awesome! Now I can voice chat with 1454-7898-5462-4787 and 7894-8569-8457-1245 without a headset!
Come on, Nintendo. Give us the easy online play system we really ...

From AppleInsider:
While details of the suit are unclear at this time, AppleInsider has learned that Apple and its counsel at Townsend and Townsend and Crew LLP filed the suit on grounds of copyright infringement.
Well, duh.
A representative for the company, identified only as Robert, would later go on record and challenge Apple to bring formal ...

Dr. Horrible Act One is available for download. The presence of Whedon can definitely be felt, especially in the music, which reminds me of Buffy's Once More With Feeling.

Apple has a collection of tips for anyone noticing their iPhone running out of juice early in the day. This one is interesting:

iLounge points out that the iPhone 3G does not come boxed with a dock ((but does include a little paperclip-like thing for removing the sim tray)), whereas the original iPhone included one. This isn't the first time something like this has happened. Older iPods used to come with the in-line ...

I got to the mall at about 7:30 AM today. The store opened at 8, and my first meeting wasn't until 9:30. I wouldn't be first in line, but it wasn't like I was in a hurry. At 8:45, the first customer to enter was finally able to leave. I ...

Dave Caolo's iPhone gripes:
Last year, Apple sold a boatload of original iPhones in the US. That was the good news. The bad news was that many of those customers sat at home with useless iPhones on their desks.
Their activation servers got nailed and more than a few people were left hanging. ...

You can't say the jailbreak community is a bunch of slackers. This was bound to happen, but it's great to see that the dev teams are still on their game. I don't know that I'll bother, since I'm on AT&T already and the only jailbreak app I ever used to ...

Apple has soft-launched the iPhone App Store, and the 2.0 software is available via stealth link. I haven't bothered updating the OS since I'm currently running the beta, but word has it that it works. Of course, you'll need iTunes 7.7 to make this all happen.
Meanwhile, Apple has released a .Mac-to-MobileMe ...
