Apple Nearly Releases Software

Apple has soft-launched the iPhone App Store, and the 2.0 software is available via stealth link.  I haven’t bothered updating the OS since I’m currently running the beta, but word has it that it works.  Of course, you’ll need iTunes 7.7 to make this all happen.

Meanwhile, Apple has released a .Mac-to-MobileMe conversion tool via Software Update.  Also out today is AppleTV software 2.1, which adds support for MobileMe and the free Remote application.

Busy day for Apple.  Tomorrow doesn’t look good, either.
